President (Director)
Émilie Dumontet graduated from Ahuntsic College in 2018 with a diploma in Paralegal Technology. She began her practice in civil litigation and family law to then move towards corporate law.
She joined Coveo Solutions Inc. and works in business and securities law. In the fall of 2022, she joined CAP as a volunteer in charge of continuing education. Since March 2024, she has been President of CAP, overseeing all of the association's activities but primarily responsible for partnerships and professional recognition. She is commited to raising awareness of the paralegal profession, so that it can be better recognized.
In addition to her involvement with the association, she is continuing her part-time studies at the Université de Montréal's Certificate in Law program.
