Elsa Guilbault

Director

Since 2017, Elsa Guilbault has held a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Paralegal Technology from Cégep Garneau in Quebec City.

Since 2015, she has been balancing work and studies while practicing administrative law. As a result, she gained solid experience with the Tribunal administratif du Québec (TAQ) in both Quebec City and Montreal. Elsa was responsible for a team of paralegals and law students who processed summaries of the Tribunal's decisions for the Internal Case Law Bank. She also provided training to the judiciary on the introduction of the latter. As part of her work, she was also responsible for the weekly transmission of decisions rendered by the TAQ on the SOQUIJ platform. In autumn 2019, she joined CAP as a volunteer responsible for the mentoring committee. As a director, her main objective is to ensure recognition of the paralegal profession, and to support students before, during and after their leap into the legal profession. Elsa currently works as a paralegal in Montreal for National Bank of Canada Legal Affairs, specializing in civil litigation and employment law.  She stands out for her rigor, determination and authenticity. Highly committed to helping society, she has been involved in a number of events, including the Children's Wish Foundation.
